Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) will launch a nationwide tender on 6 November 2025 for 10,900 electric buses under the National Electric Bus Programme. Covering major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Surat and Ahmedabad, the initiative uses a Gross Cost Contract model, lowering costs and boosting local employment.
