Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has achieved financial close for the 420 MW La Esperanza solar-plus-storage project in Campeche, Mexico. The project combines 420 MW solar PV with a 150 MW/750 MWh battery energy storage system. CIP secured approximately $510 million in debt financing from international lenders, supported by equity from CI Growth Markets Fund II and Profuturo.
