Morocco’s Chbika green hydrogen project is progressing steadily, with land secured and planning agreements underway. At its sixth review meeting, chaired by Deputy Investment Minister Karim Zidane, officials confirmed timely completion of key milestones. Located in Guelmim-Oued Noun, the project will generate one gigawatt of solar and wind power to produce green hydrogen from seawater, yielding 200,000 tons of green ammonia annually.
