Coal India Limited (CIL), the world’s largest Coal producer, plans to diversify into Renewable Energy by developing 4.5 GW capacity across India, including 2500–3000 MW Solar and 1500–2000 MW Wind power. The initiative includes phased project execution, 25-year PPAs, and a “take-or-pay” model.
