ChemVolt Global has started site work for a 5 GWh lithium-ion battery and BESS manufacturing plant at Ratlam Mega Industrial Park, Madhya Pradesh. The 23.9-hectare facility at Plot No. 24, Smart Industrial Township, involves ₹2,500 crore investment. It will produce 314 Ah prismatic LFP cells for BESS and heavy commercial vehicles, and 750 Ah LFMP blade cells for high-capacity BESS deployments.
