The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) issued the Fourth Amendment to its regulations, waiving interstate transmission charges (ISTS) for wind, solar, energy storage systems (ESS), and pumped storage projects (PSPs). Offshore wind projects commissioned by 2032 and renewable-charged ESS/PSPs now qualify.
