CERC adopted tariffs for 2,100 MW of firm, dispatchable renewable energy with storage, procured by NHPC through competitive bidding for ISTS-connected projects. Launched in March 2024 for 1,200 MW, the tender expanded via a Greenshoe Option, awarding an additional 900 MW. Avaada Energy led with 1,200 MW, followed by Essar, Hexa, Juniper, and Serentica.
