The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission adopted tariffs for 1170 MW ISTS-connected solar projects by NHPC Limited through competitive bidding. With the 1000 MW Greenshoe Option, total capacity increased to 2170 MW at tariffs starting ₹2.43/kWh. The Commission accepted the mechanism, citing transparency and cost efficiency.
