CERC Approves ₹2.15/kWh Tariff for 170 MW Neemuch Solar Project

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has approved a tariff of ₹2.15/kWh for a 170 MW grid-connected solar project at Neemuch Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. The project is part of the 500 MW solar park and was rebid after the earlier developer defaulted. In the reverse auction, held over 16 rounds with 10 bidders including Tata Power, NTPC Renewable Energy and Renew Solar, Waaree Forever Energies emerged lowest.
