Centre approved Rs 27,370 crore investment for Andhra Pradesh transmission network under Green Energy Corridor Phase-III, first phase expected 2029-30. The approval follows Union Cabinet clearance of Rs 1.86 trillion GEC-III on September 30, targeting transmission of up to 135 GW renewable energy by 2032-33, including Rs 1.
