In FY 2024, about a dozen high-end electric cars and SUVs are expected to be available on roads in India. Out of 54 launches in the previous fiscal year, only six were high-end electric vehicles. Demand for electric mobility is increasing across categories, from scooters to luxury automobiles, thanks to improved driving range, increased charging infrastructure, and government support.
