NLC India Ltd has approved investing up to ₹1,630.89 crore in its renewable subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Ltd, pending necessary approvals. It also plans to borrow USD 100 million in Japanese yen from SMBC for Renewable capex. With 1,431 MW of Renewable capacity, NLC targets ₹1.16 lakh crore in capex.
