Caterpillar will deploy a 4GW combined heat and power (CHP) plant with 1.1GWh of battery storage for Joule Capital Partners’ new AI-focused data center campus in Central Utah. The plant will include Caterpillar’s gas generators, cooling and power systems, and grid-forming battery energy storage.
