Castrol is investing $50 million in Taiwan-based Gogoro Inc., a leader in swappable batteries for Electric Two-wheelers. The investment, part of Castrol’s ‘Onward, Upward, Forward’ strategy, includes $25 million in ordinary shares and $25 million in convertible notes. This marks Castrol’s entry into new energy.
