Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation (APTRANSCO) awarded its 1,000 MW/2,000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) tender, issued in August, to multiple developers at varied tariffs. Ecoren secured the largest portion with 275 MW and 225 MW projects at ₹1.50 Lacs/MW/month and ₹1.65 Lacs/MW/month, respectively.
