Canadian start-up ProtonH2 has partnered with US liquefaction firm GenH2 to scale local production and delivery of low-carbon liquid hydrogen. Under a memorandum of understanding with GenH2’s parent Philomaxcap, the firms will combine ProtonH2’s hydrogen extraction from depleted oil wells with GenH2’s cryogenic liquefaction technology.
