Giga Storage has acquired a 350MW/1,400MWh BESS project in Neuenkirchen, Germany, marking its first expansion beyond Belgium and the Netherlands. Named Giga Albatross, the project is strategically located near major HVDC lines and Germany’s offshore wind hub. Backed by InfraVia Capital Partners, Giga aims to support energy security and decarbonization across Europe.
