Blueleaf Energy and Malaysia's Universal Peak have achieved financial close for a 100 MW/400 MWh utility-scale battery storage project in Malaysia, with UOB as sole lender. The joint venture BKHM BESS Sdn Bhd will build, own and operate the project under Malaysia's inaugural MyBeST program, overseen by the Energy Commission, with commissioning mid-2027.
