BloombergNEF predicts that Green Hydrogen prices will drop significantly by 2050, falling from the current range of $3.74/kg to $11.70/kg to between $1.60/kg and $5.09/kg. This forecast is based on higher than expected future costs for electrolyzers. Despite the price drop, Green Hydrogen will remain expensive with only China and India expected to see it become cost competitive by 2040.
