Around 47GW/237GWh will be required as BESS & 26GW Pumped Hydro storage to the reach the charging demand of EV 38TWh by 2030. India’s cumulative EV sales reached 4.1 million units in the fiscal year 2023-24 and IESA forecasts that over 28 million EVs will be in operation by 2030.
