Ministry of Heavy Industries is considering up to 50% capital subsidy and sales-linked incentives to boost domestic battery component manufacturing and cut import dependence. Three models under evaluation: 25% capex subsidy plus 5-18% sales incentives, 11-37% sales-linked incentives for 5-7 years without capex support, and 50% capex subsidy linked to investments.
