Avaada Group has signed an MoU with Maharashtra’s Water Resources Department to develop two pumped storage hydro projects—2.4 GW Pawana Falyan and 1.2 GW Sirsala—totaling 3,650 MW. With an investment of INR 15,100 crore, the projects will create over 3,800 jobs. They aim to enhance Maharashtra’s energy security through 24/7 renewable power and grid stability.
