Ignitis Renewables has agreed to acquire Ocean Winds’ 49% stake in the 700MW Curonian Nord offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea. The deal, approved by Lithuania’s National Energy Regulatory Council, involves purchasing shares at a nominal price and reimbursing project costs. Ignitis will manage the project independently, aiming to secure a construction permit by 2027.
