Avaada Energy is expanding in Uttar Pradesh with an 85 MW solar project in Chitrakoot costing ₹250 crore, a 590 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy project backed by 2,500 MWh battery storage, and integrated solar manufacturing facilities of 6,000–7,000 MW in Greater Noida and Hathras. The company will supply power to the state at ₹4.
