Kerala’s 2026–27 budget raised power-sector allocation to ₹1,309.84 crore, prioritising renewable energy, efficiency and grid security. ₹1,238.80 crore was earmarked for KSEB, funding BESS, smart meters, pumped storage projects and externally aided initiatives like the Green Energy Corridor.
