Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) has awarded Avaada Energy a 200 MW (DC) solar power project. Avaada will sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GUVNL for 25 years and supply power at a tariff of Rs. 2.75 per kWh. The solar power plant is expected to produce 370 million units of electricity and will power 250,000 households annually.
