The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has allocated $432 million to Orica’s Hunter Valley Hydrogen Hub, the second project funded under the Hydrogen Headstart Program. The hub will use a 50 MW electrolyser powered by renewable electricity to produce hydrogen, replacing natural gas in ammonia production and reducing emissions.
