The World Bank has approved an $890 million financing package to support India’s PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, accelerating rooftop solar adoption across 10 million households. The package includes an $820 million IBRD loan, a $60 million Clean Technology Fund loan, and a $10 million grant.
