ALMM Solar Module Capacity Surpasses 162 GW February 2026

In February 2026, MNRE added 17,268 MW of solar module capacity to the ALMM, raising total capacity to 162,109 MW. Two new manufacturers, KRG Power Solar (1,094 MW) and Sun 2 Earth Solar (30 MW), joined the list. Existing players including RenewSys India, SAEL, Pahal Solar, Premier Energies, Grew Solar, Emmvee, ReNew Photovoltaics, Sunify Solar, Sunbond Energy, Group Surya, and Adani Solar expanded capacities across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Telangana, reflecting continued growth in India’s domestic solar manufacturing sector.
