BlackRock-backed Akaysha Energy has secured AU$460 million non-recourse construction financing for its 311MW/1,244MWh Elaine BESS in Victoria. The syndicated facility includes AU$75 million letters of credit, with Snowy Hydro supporting the project through a 15-year virtual tolling agreement for 220MW.
