Agastya Green Energy has begun work on a ₹7,800 crore integrated ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The project will add 12 GW each of ingot and wafer capacity, complementing the company’s existing solar cell and module manufacturing operations. The integrated facility aims to strengthen domestic solar manufacturing, improve efficiency and increase value addition across India’s photovoltaic supply chain.
