Ørsted and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna have begun offshore installation for the 1.5 GW Baltica 2 wind farm in the Baltic Sea. The first monopile foundations have been installed by Van Oord as part of 111 total units, including 107 turbine foundations and 4 offshore substations. Each monopile is about 100 metres long and over 10 metres wide.
