Adaptogen Capital closed funding to acquire a 100MW battery energy storage system (BESS) in West Yorkshire, completing its Adaptogen Battery Storage Fund portfolio. Operated by Varco Energy, the BESS will start operations in 2027, providing frequency regulation, capacity reserve, and load shifting services.
