Adani Transmission has raised its capex for transmission and distribution, including smart metering, to Rs 7,500-8,000 crore per annum. ATL has obtained smart metering contracts from BEST in Mumbai and Assam. Also, the company has acquired land for a new HVDC link in Mumbai, which will increase 50% power supply to ensure blackout prevention.
