GSECL has petitioned the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission for tariff approval for its 45 MW solar project in Badeli. Developed on government wasteland, the project cost approximately ₹290.67 crore. A 50% state capital subsidy is expected to significantly lower generation costs for the 25-year power purchase agreement with GUVNL.
