The Adani Group's first transnational power project, the Godda USCTPP is the first transnational power project in India to be commissioned when all of the generated power is exported to another country. A mandatory criterion under the power purchase agreement (PPA) with Bangladesh was fulfilled by Adani Power Jharkhand Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Power Ltd, for the Godda project.
