ACME Group and Japan’s IHI Corporation are jointly developing India’s largest green ammonia project in Gopalpur, Odisha, targeting 0.4 million tonnes annual production by 2029-30. IHI holds a 30% stake in the joint venture, with ACME retaining 70%. The project supports India-Japan Clean Energy Partnership goals, aiming to export ammonia mainly to Japan.
