300 MW BESS has been put by Ørsted on offshore wind farms in UK

The project has the capacity of 300 MW/600MWh BESS developed by Ørsted. The project has the 5 GW Offshore wind capacity with another 5 GW in Hornsea 3 & 4. In this year’s Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction round, Hornsea 3 re-bid and was awarded a 1,080MW contract. Ørsted claims that Hornsea 3, with a 2,400MW capacity, is the largest wind energy plant globally.
