Victoria Unveils 7.6GW Rooftop Solar PV Plan

Last Update 22 August 2024

On August 21, Victoria’s government unveiled a decarbonisation plan aiming for 7.6GW of Rooftop Solar PV by 2035, increasing Renewable Energy in its electricity mix to 65% by 2030 and 95% by 2035. The plan includes 6.3GW of rooftop Solar, 3GW of utility-scale Solar, and 6.3GW of Energy Storage, supported by new transmission projects.
