US, India, Tanzania Forge Historic Renewable Energy Alliance
The U.S., India, and Tanzania launched a Triangular Development Partnership to bolster Tanzania's energy infrastructure and advance renewable energy. Led by USAID and Indian partners, the initiative aims to enhance Tanzania's grid, and regulatory frameworks, and foster utility-scale solar projects. Since 2013, Tanzania has expanded energy access from 1.2 to 4.5 million connections.
