US Energy Storage Deployments surged 86% year-over-year to 10.5 GWh in Q2
U.S. experienced over 3 GW/10.5 GWh of Energy Storage deployments, a respective increase of 74% and 86% year-over-year, with utility-scale storage accounting for 2,773 MW/9,982 MWh. Despite a 4% decline in grid-scale energy storage prices and uncertainties around domestic manufacturing, investor interest surged, pledging $11.45 B in the first half of 2024, surpassing the previous year's total.
