SECI Achieves Record Low BESS Costs in Solar Tender

Winning bids for SECI’s solar PV and battery storage tender hit a low of IR3.41/kWh, a milestone in India’s renewable energy landscape. The auction, aimed at deploying 1,200MW of solar PV and 600MW/1,200MWh of battery storage, attracted bids from Pace Digitek Infra, Hero Solar Energy, ACME Solar Holdings, and JSW Neo Energy, demonstrating competitive pricing below previous benchmarks.
