OSRTC upgrades 38% of fleet for an 11 million-tonne carbon reduction goal.
Odisha's OSRTC, the largest government bus transport entity, is reducing carbon emissions. With 636 buses and plans for 1745 more, they aim to raise industry standards. Currently, 38% of their fleet is being upgraded to cut emissions, and the inclusion of 1745 BS-VI-compliant Diesel Buses is set to reduce about 11 million tons of carbon annually.
