Oman’s Renewable Energy Leadership: Green Hydro Production and Investment Goals

The IEA's Renewables 2024 report highlights Oman's leadership in renewable energy, particularly green hydrogen production. Oman is projected to exceed its 2030 hydrogen targets, contributing to 44% of MENA's growth alongside the UAE, Egypt and Morocco. The country aims for $40 billion in investments to produce 1 million tonnes of zero-carbon hydrogen annually by 2030.
