NLC intends to build a 2,400 MW thermal power plant in Odisha for Rs 19,422cr

NLC India Ltd intends to build a 2,400 MW coal-fired power station in Odisha. The factory would be built in Talabira, Odisha, at a cost of Rs 19,422 crore. In Odisha, NLC intends to build a 3x800 MW thermal plant. With a project cost of Rs 19,422 crore, this is a pithead thermal plant near NLC's Talabira coal mines. On status of the project, the land acquisition & clearances are at advanced stage.
