NDMC Procures 200MW Solar Power, Targets 100% Renewable

NDMC plans to procure 200MW solar power with SECI's help, aiming for 100% renewable energy by 2025. Cost capped at Rs 2.68/KwH adheres to ministry guidelines. Current supply: 525 MW/day; peak summer demand 450 MW, peak 425 MW. Sources include Delhi govt’s plants (111 MW), NDMC's solar (11 MW), and SJVN (55 MW). Transition is crucial for Delhi's central region, NDMC's jurisdiction.
