JSW Neo Secures 1500 MW/12000 MWh PHES with Battery Storage in Maharashtra
JSW Neo Energy Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, secured a Letter of Intent for 1,500 MW / 12,000 MWh of Pumped Hydro Energy Storage from MSEDCL for its Bhavali project in Maharashtra. This boosts its total Energy Storage capacity to 16.2 GWh, comprising 14.4 GWh of Pumped Hydro and 1.8 GWh of Battery Storage. The company aims for 40 GWh by 2030, enhancing grid stability and RE integration.
