India's KAPS-4 Nuclear Reactor Reaches Full 700 MW Capacity
India's Kakrapar Atomic Power Station (KAPS) Unit 4 in Gujarat has reached full capacity of 700 MW. This milestone follows Unit 3's successful operation and reflects the effectiveness of the indigenous 700 MW Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor design. NPCIL plans to build 14 more reactors of this type by 2031-32, boosting total capacity significantly.
