EWE Plans 320MW Green Hydrogen Plant in Germany

German Energy supplier EWE will build a 320 MW Green Hydrogen Plant in Emden by 2027, producing 26,000 tonnes annually from Wind Power. Managed by Drees & Sommer SE, this project is part of the €800M Clean Hydrogen Coastline initiative. It includes a 50MW electrolysis plant in Bremen and involves repurposing a gas cavern for Hydrogen Storage and infrastructure upgrades.
