Chhattisgarh opens largest solar plant in Rajnandgaon.
Chhattisgarh inaugurates India's largest solar plant with battery storage near Dhaba village, Rajnandgaon. Developed by SECI and Chhattisgarh Power Distribution Company, it has a 100 MW capacity, generating over 500,000 units/day and cutting 450,000 tons of carbon emissions annually. The on-grid facility by CREDA features 239,000 bifacial solar panels and is expected to operate for seven years.
